Seniors we are running a halfterm sleepover as requested! It will be on Monday 18th. We do need a signed consent form or note for this one as it’s outside usual session times, and you’ll need a sleeping bag, pillow & comfy clothes to wear.

News and updates:

Data protection and new registration forms (GDPR)
We have produced new registration forms to ensure we are fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which came into force in May.

Why we ask for information and what we do with it

We ask for your details so we can get in touch with you during sessions if needed, for example, to check pick up arrangements or in case of emergency.
We ask for relevant medical and health information to help us meet everyones needs and plan safe sessions.
We may use anonymised postcode, age, gender, ethnicity or health data of our members as evidence of youth club membership in reports or applications for funding. (This is enormously helpful in applications for funds to support the club.) However, we do NOT use data if young people or families could be identified from it.

We only have one copy of your personal details – the registration form you and your child filled in – and they are filed securely in a locked filing cabinet at The Yard in paper form only. We never share contact details or other information with anyone without consent, unless we would be breaking the law not to do so.

Photo permission – all ages

Unless you have said otherwise on your child’s registration form or verbally at any time, we will assume that the club has permission to use photos of our activities, which may include your child, to evidence the club’s activities publicly or to external organisations ie funding bodies. Photos will be chosen sensitively and if we are not sure, the young person will be asked for permission.
