Moretonhampstead Development Trust set up in 1995 to regenerate the town, the Trust manages a number of local projects, and works to support other local projects and organisations such as our youth club, to help achieve a thriving and cohesive local community. Responsible for managing the youth club premises, The Yard, at Green Hill.

Moretonhampstead Primary School

Moretonhampstead Action Group for Sustainability or MAGS have recently worked with the youth club and the Primary School to plant a new community orchard along the cycle track. Volunteer opportunities for young people and families to help manage the baby trees and learn how to look after an orchard as it grows.

Moretonhampstead Parish Council and volunteer Councillors provide advice and support to Moretonhampstead, and we have a Parish Council representative on the MAY committee.

Green Hill Arts Gallery co-located at Green Hill (alongside the Youth Club) also hosting Dartmoor heritage displays. Community art projects and reception volunteer opportunities for over 16s.
