What to do if you have a comment, compliment or complaint about the service offered by the club:

Parents of youth club members are welcome to come in for a chat with a member of staff or volunteer during session hours. If you would like to talk to a particular member of staff, volunteer or Child Protection Officer who is unavailable during that session, please feel free to arrange a convenient time.

Parents and members of the public are very welcome to pass on comments, complaints or compliments or make an appointment with our Senior Youth Worker or a member of our management committee, by phoning 01647 440830, emailing theyardmay@gmail.com or in writing to The Yard, Green Hill, Fore Street, Moretonhampstead, TQ13 8LL.

If you have a concern about a child please use the contact details within our Child Protection Statement below. Our Safeguarding Officers are MAY committee Chair, Carey Scott, and MAY Trustee Jane Bowes.

In the case of a complaint against a member of staff or volunteer, the procedures as set out in the Code of Conduct and Child Protection Policies below will be followed.

Note: the Child Protection policies online do not include the full contents of our Child Protection folder, which includes additional notes on signs and symptoms of abuse, CSE, the “Threshold Tool” and guidance, and contact information. The folder is available for inspection at any time at the youth club.
